Terms of Service

Last updated October 1, 2026

Draft. This is a starter policy. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before launch, and fill in the bracketed details.

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Phantom”, “we”) for use of phantomlive.app, the Phantom account portal and the Phantom desktop app (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. If you create an account for an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to bind it to these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Phantom is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Team plans are billed per user.
  • New subscriptions may include a free trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your payment method is charged at the end of the trial.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.
  • Taxes may apply based on your location.

Your content and audio

You keep all rights to your content. You are responsible for having the necessary licenses for any audio, stems or songs you use with Phantom, including the license terms of providers such as MultiTracks.com and CCLI. Phantom does not host or distribute your audio.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service. That includes reverse engineering it except as allowed by law, interfering with its operation, sharing an account beyond your plan’s users, or using it to infringe others’ rights.

Third-party services

Phantom works with Planning Center, Ableton Live and other third-party products. Their use is governed by their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them. Phantom is not affiliated with Ableton AG or Planning Center.

Live use

Phantom builds show files ahead of time. Always review and rehearse your show before a live performance. The Service is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Phantom is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Phantom at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and, for material changes, notify account owners by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY].
